As a pastor's wife I feel I can say there is a time for laughter. There is nothing rude or crude in this humor. It's real people poking fun at real life situations. If the world sees us as real and approachable, they might just want what we have..They certainly will not want what they see as sanctimonious and self-righteous. Lets not live as accusers like the Pharisees did. What did the people see in Jesus that made them follow Him? He was approachable and loving, welcoming, not accusing. Of course we should not tolerate sin, but we must also be careful and make sure the sin isn't somewhere within ourselves if we tend to have a negative or sour attitude that tends to complain or always point fingers at those who are just living a joyful and happy Christian life. Don't be the kind of person who lives a life that says: I DARE you to try to bless me!

As a parent, a preschool teacher, a childcare provider, a Children's Ministry volunteer and a Children's Pastor, I find this clip very funny! What I think isn't funny is the fact that so many people use their religious opinions (I said religious, not Christ-like) to pass judgement on others - and over laughing about their kids and church? Throwing scripture at them as they are critical and put him down.....yeah. I know there's scriptures out there for you to be reading regarding your own behavior :D Sure, children are a blessing - they're wonderful. I love kids, I love the ones I teach, I love the ones I care for, I love my own children. As I'm sure Bob does too. But you know something that I don't love - and I know many others agree.....the fact that in many churches these beloved blessings aren't welcome in big church because oh my gosh, it would be such devastation if they made a noise and prevented you from having your undistracted attention during the service. I know, because I hear it all the time - I've even been told that I put the parents through a living hell having to put up with their children during service and they couldn't get blessed because of it since I didn't have childcare for the kids that night. I've heard every gripe, complaint and whine you can imagine - I've sat in service and watched the hateful looks of people like you when these little blessings get cranky, tired, upset during service. people need to grow up spiritually, quit being so stuck up & religious and realize that. 1) Children are special, they are a blessing - but it doesn't mean you can't laugh at them or things that involve them (uh, did you have any bad mouthing to do to Bob when he laughed about wedding vows, his wife, any other people? - if not, why?) 2) Children can learn in big church - and in children's church - and the same God and Holy Spirit that you feel and see moving in big church - yep.....you guessed it.....it's the same one that moves in the kids' classes! I've been a Christian since I was 9....I'm 39 now - and to this day - a prayer meeting with kids was the most powerful prayer meeting I have ever been in. 3) Get a sense of humor - it must hurt being so critical of people all the time - If you're this hateful over a comedy bit about something that EVERY children's pastor deals with on a weekly basis - and THEY find it humorous - you are too uptight. 4) Want to make a difference - appreciate your Children's Ministry workers - the Children's Pastor - the volunteers - they have a difficult job - they take care of, pray for, love on, and teach your precious children. And many times - they do it without pay - without thanks, but with a lot of complaints and criticisms. When that special speaker has been at the church for 3 days and service hasn't got out til 11pm after it started at 6 - and you're walking out talking about how blessed you were and how great the services has been - think about the people wh were taking care of the children during this time - who missed all the services - who's kids haven't got to school on time all week, who worked a full time job, missed dinner and ran to the church to be there to take your children - and then people want to complain because you gave them snacks or a piece of candy at 10pm - after you've watched 2 movies, played a dozen games, colored, sang, prayed, and they're still running circles because their bedtime was 3 hours ago. You can't help but to laugh about it, to make a joke about it, because if not, you'll get upset, angry, feel forgotten.....lighten up - appreciate them - show them love!

I don't know what's wrong with some people. I am a Sunday School Teacher & I have been working with Children & Teens for 18 yrs now, & although they ARE a blessing from God I still found this clip hilarious. Ecclesiastes tells us that there is a time to laugh & I just did. If you did find this funny, then maybe You should stop taking yourself so seriously & work in The Childrens Department in your Church for a time. Be a kid!

Had to watch it again! Y'all know, children are a blessing, but, they can also get on your last nerve. If you don't believe that-you've never worked in the nursery at church and it's your turn-LOL!
