This is so beautiful. 3 1/2 yrs. ago we accepted responsibility for our grandson who was 13 months old. He was a methadone and xanax addicted baby, and had been given methadone from another persons prescription for 7 months. When we got him he could do NOTHING, more than sit on the floors with a toy. He could not turn over, he could not crawl, he could not even lay on his belly and lift up his head. He could not talk, or walk or pull himself up to furniture. He couldn't feed himself, drink out of a sippy cup. Basically he was a vegetable, short of being able to sit, if you sat him. We were told that he would be mentally and physically challenged for the rest of his life. My response to that statement was my GOD is much bigger than that. His name is also Christian! Today Christian is a happy, healthy, normal 5 yr. old in a kindergarten class with all 6 yr. olds, and he runs, jumps, and plays like any other 5 yr. old. He uses words like is this appropriate. It took a lot of work, but GOD IS MUCH BIGGER THAN THAT, and he won the victory. Christian says he wants to preach when he grows up. So I know this other Christian will also be a great blessing to the Lord in some way, you go Christian!
