My father served in the Pacific in WWII, I have 3 sons that are or have served and am a veteran myself. Philip served in the Army and was part of the 2003 Iraqui invasion force, Dan is in the Navy assigned to the USS Nimitz and has been to the gulf twice and Tim is serving in the Coast Guard. We are so proud of them for their service. This video is a FITTING TRIBUTE to the fallen HEROES. Please pause and pray for our troops and veterans the world over.

Listening to the same video and reading many great comments and a few prejudice ones!!!

Listening to the same video and reading may great comment and prejudice ones. I am a female veteran and I was also touched by this video. Not many in my family believe in thanking veterans since many of the male veterans have passed on. The one thing I find disappointing is minority veterans do not seem to get their just due till they are much older and someone realizes the significance of their service!!! Yet we still love the USA!!!

Today while at lunch at our local Co-op, we saw a well-decorated, 94-year old, a veteran of the 2nd World War who had served in Normandy, having lunch with his daughter. We didn't know them, but we decided to say "thank you, sir, for your defense of our nation of Canada, and we appreciate your service" so that we could enjoy freedom in our nation. In our church this morning, our minister told us what it had been like when he lived in Holland when Hiitler bombed and invaded his country. Thank you, Lord, for our servicemen.

At Hanscom AFB, the roads from the flight line to the gate are lined with Hanscom employees, both military and civilian. They are driven home with police escorts and usually met in their hometowns by lines of people. These pilots are the arms that reach forward.

Linda, you deserve part of the praise. I notice you use the present tense. Too many Vietnam Veterans came home and then lost their wives and families. Thank-you for standing by him.
