Feel free just knowing that God is always with u! I lost my Mother, Sept 2012, but I am at peace, just knowing that she is wih my Daddy, walking the Golden Streets and no more pain, sorrow, no cane or walker. She has a new body! PRAISE GOD!

Ben, I am so glad that your mom's last wish was fulfilled. I have been were you stood, in the ICU with my mom. She passed away in April of 2010. My heart goes out to you. Reach out to others for support. About 2 month after my mom passed, I realized I needed some professional direction so I sought out a Christian counselor. I don't know where ou stand with your beliefs, but let me share one thing. Right before my family was told that my mom was terminal, I had told a friend that I had never felt more connected to God, had a stronger faith then I did right then... 7 weeks later she passed away. A few weeks after that, I couldn't believe how much I had distanced myself from God. I grew up as a Christian, but when my mom died, I felt like I had to start from the ground up to trust God. Losing my mom has been the most difficult thing I have ever had to go through. The pain at first was almost unbearable and I've learned that the pain of not having my mom around now, will always be with me. But what will change is the intensity and frequency of the hurt. In just a few hours, I will be attending a wake and tomorrow a funeral. My friend was killed in a car accident Friday. I am sure that the emotions will come back like it was just yesterday that I said goodbye to my mom. My hope now, is to be able to share my story to bring encouragement, hope, and some comfort. God bless, Stef.

This was very touching and bought tears to my eyes; tears of joy and sadness. Joy because his mother got a chance to see her son graduate before her pass away & sadness because of the son losing his mom. May God's Blessings continue to be with the family always. "Congratulations Ben on achieving your High School Diploma"!

Ben - I'm an Oak Hills grad from long ago, but still cheer a fine westside graduate. May you always remember the pride your mom had in you, and may that encourage you to soar to great heights. May God bless you, make your path straight, and use you for His mighty purposes. Congratulations!

God bless this young man, his father and especially his mother. It was so thoughtful of all involved who so graciously performed this little "graduation ceremony" by his mother's death bed so she had the chance to "see him graduate" before she passed on. I am sure on his "graduation day in June with all his other classmates" that this gradution day will certainly stand out in his mind, then and always. May God always be with him and his remaining family. God bless.

God Bless...I can honestly relate. After Katrina, I found out that breast cancer came back. Had to go through chemo and my mom was dying. After I finished chemo I went to her and told her that I was finish, that she could rest now, that she saw me through and was there for me but it was time for her to rest. She died shortly after...that will stay with me till I die. God bless you for giving your mom her last wish.

What a beautiful memory you got to share with your mother Ben. My mother(51) passed away this past November and my brother(17) is also graduating HS this year. I feel your pain! Prayers for comfort during this difficult time. Remember that this time on earth is like a blink of an eye compared to eternity in heaven. This gives me comfort, and I hope you as well.

Congratulations, Ben! So glad that you fulfilled your Mom's last wish, I know she is so proud of you! God is good all the time! It was a miracle that she was able to be there to see you receive your diploma, and you graduated from a very special school for them to help fulfill this wish! It was like she went in peace knowing that she was granted her last wish.....it was though she was holding on and waiting for that moment! Sorry for your loss, but she is Heaven's gain! Know that she will always be in your heart, and she will be as the Angels in Heaven watching over you! I was in tears watching this.....it was tears of joy, and tears of sorrow......"bitter~sweet!" My heart was diffidently touched! Thank you for sharing! Praying that God will give you and your family peace and comfort at this time! Know that she is in Heaven, and she is alive and well.....no longer sick! :-) <3
