How could anyone say such a negative remark after such a wonderful performance. She is a kid and has more talent then most will ever know. I can not believe such a beautiful voice could come from such a tiny child. If there is something good to say please say it, otherwise...

She's 10. Just shows her emotions.

E Ann Hamill .. your concern for her is valid but she had done exceedingly well since this video 4yrs ago. She is grounded with people who care and love her. You say you are a professional in vocal teaching music, you may have taught students that are not ready vocally for a professional life but not all will follow in the same path. Jackie is one who has a real voice that is part of her soul. I too have been singing since I was her age & professionally when I was older and have never been anything but myself. I worship in song and naturally use my hands as an expression that brings me into the spirit of worship. You meant well but you come across as very judgmental and not wanting to listen to anyone else who has been touched by her vocals. See how she is doing now on this video I've provided and maybe you can admit she is herself and has a talent that is worthy of praise. http://youtu.be/twFgtnlpOz8

Barry, Karen and Mary - you have got me all wrong. Yes, I am a Christian and the reason I say this (with little Jackie only being 10 years old) is because I CARE about what happens to the wonderful voices God has given as a gift to many children. People take the voices, force them unnaturally and the result is disastrous. THIS is the reason for my comments - they are not, in the long run, negative. They are actually positive for the sake of Jackie and others like her. If you think carefully about it, I am NOT being judgemental - my attitude is good towards this lovely child - to my mind she is being exploited and that is why I made the comment. If she was a pupil of mine, she would be protected and then she would end up with a wonderful voice in about 10 years time - THEN she can be presented to the public. Please don't judge me! My comments are honourable to Jackie.

Mary...try closing your eyes, that way you won't see her hands moving and while your at it say a prayer for your attitude

She's 10 years old, and all you can say is negative, and your supposed to be Christians, shame on you. after 30 years of vocal tuition teaching, where is your #1 record, oh, that's right, you just lay judgement. They both sang beautifully

Mary Watters - sorry Mary but I didn't enjoy it as the hand movements etc. with young Jackie are so distracting. When 2 voices are not blending, it is best not to put them together. I am speaking from professional experience. Jackie's voice is being forced and if she continues her voice will not last long. Mark this date on your calendar - and watch this space!

Both are extremely talented and BLEND well. I enjoy the youngsters emotions with her hands and this piece made a waking up today very pleasant.

It's still hard to realize that God gave such a gift to a child. Good to see that she didn't bury it.
