Yes, I really am a carpenter...I gave my life to Christ about 15 years ago and it is just now that I am really understanding what it means to have a personal relationship with Christ. I have really begun to see that it is not just about going to church or sacraments or rituals and traditions.

I am fundamentally based in Reformed Theology, which means yes, I am a Calvinist..lol. However, I also believe that for God's Chosen, there is a life of Victorious Living. I don't believe in the Charismatic Movement because there are many, many abuses by human ministers that make the message of Christ of none effect, but I will not be so arrogant as to say that the Gifts of the Spirit do not exist. I believe in miracles because I am one, that God heals and that God blesses financially to a certain extent to fulfill His purposes, not mine. I am a firm believer that the inward possession of the Fruit of the Spirit will do more to win souls than any outward expression of Gifts ever could.

So I seek to become more like Christ every day. Of course I fall short every day, but because Christ is my Advocate, my Friend, my Intercessor, I no longer fear the Father and run from him. Instead, I get up, brush myself off, and try again.
