'God's Not Dead: We The People' Official Movie Trailer
As if the first movies weren’t already inspiring enough, the ‘God’s Not Dead’ franchise is bringing us another incredible story of faith.
The short trailer takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions when the freedom of religion is challenged. A group of homeschooling parents has to defend their right to include religious content in their kids’ homeschool academics.
Reverend Dave, played by returning actor David A.R. White, leads the group in a fight to protect their basic liberties. While outlining the story and introducing new characters, the movie seems like it will continue themes from the previous films while telling an entirely different and interesting story.
David A.R. White shared that this upcoming story was inspired by film classics, ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’ and ‘Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.’
The intense trailer begins with Ronald Reagan’s famous quote about freedom. “Freedom is a fragile thing, and it’s never more than one generation away from extinction. And those in world history that have known freedom and lost it have never known it again.” CHILLS.
Clips of the beautiful monuments in Washington D.C. and Reverand Dave fighting for God make the story so emotional, and I just have to know what happens!
The original ‘God’s Not Dead’ was released in 2014. The story followed a college student that refused to sign a piece of paper that says, “God is dead and never existed” for a philosophy assignment. Its success led to the second and third films, and with all that success comes a fourth!
O sing to the LORD a new song: sing to the LORD, all the earth. Sing to the LORD, bless his name; show forth his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. Psalm 96:3
