This classic hymn is always a favorite. It was originally written in the 1800s as an African-American spiritual hymn, but over the years the lyrics have been modernized. The most famous interpretation comes from Fernando Ortega, a Dove award-winning singer and songwriter.
Today, Danny Gokey is performing his own rendition of ‘Give Me Jesus’ and it’s absolutely beautiful.

We are so blessed to serve such a loving and gracious Father in Heaven. Even when times are uncertain, we can all find peace and comfort in the arms of the Lord. He is our protector and the source of our light and our strength.
