Chilling ‘Purple Rain’ Performance Earns Golden Buzzer On AGT
An immensely gifted group of musicians put on a stunning, awe-inspiring and Golden Buzzer-earning performance of a classic hit tune from the late Prince, “Purple Rain” on America’s Got Talent.
Any musician would love to create one song in their career that is remembered for decades, going on to become a classic. Musicians like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Elton John and Elvis Presley are members of an exclusive group. They all have not one but a handful of songs that will be remembered long after they are gone.
The late and legendary Prince would fit into that group of musicians. During his illustrious career, the talented artist produced several hit songs, including the unforgettable “Purple Rain.” In a clip posted on YouTube, Sainted, a large group of musicians, took the stage on America’s Got Talent and gave a dazzling performance, blowing everyone away with their rendition of Prince’s hit.
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
I only want to see you bathing
In the purple rain”
It was a fun and breath-taking performance that got the audience involved and on their feet, with everyone swaying their hands back and forth to the song's beat. By the end, the entire studio audience, including all four judges, were on their feet, applauding.
When it came time for the judges to give Sainted feedback, Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Mel B and Heidi Klum sang their praises. They delivered them one compliment after another.
Simon was blown away by what he witnessed on the stage.
“It was incredible,” Simon said. “It was honestly a moment I will never ever, ever, ever forget. And I really pray that this moment will change your lives, and I’m going to give you something from my heart.”
After his comments, Simon stood up, leaned over and slammed the Golden Buzzer, sending confetti raining down on the stage and the performers.
Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

A Prayer for When You Feel Lost - Your Daily Prayer - April 27
When we feel lost, God is our true north. He is the one who can lead us where He wants us. It is so easy to get caught up in listening to the world, so sometimes, it is best to shut it out to create a quiet space for God to work.
