Dick Van Dyke’s Most Hilarious Moments on The Carol Burnett Show

Dick Van Dyke’s most hilarious and memorable moments on The Carol Burnett Show will have you gasping for air, struggling to catch your breath due to laughing so hard. These skits featuring the beloved actor are way too funny to miss. Check out this clip featuring the incomparable Dick Van Dyke.

The Carol Burnett Show is one of the most iconic programs in television history. It produced seemingly an endless number of hysterical, memorable sketches. Even decades after it went off the air, the show continues to tickle people's funny bones everywhere. Of course, that is mainly due to its all-star cast, which consisted of Carol Burnett, Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence and Tim Conway.

However, the show also welcomed guest stars, such as the legendary Dick Van Dyke. A clip posted on YouTube is a small compilation of just a few of the funniest moments of Dick’s time on The Carol Burnett Show.

The first sketch in the clip begins with Dick walking into the office of a utility company. He is irate and demands to know why his power has been disconnected immediately. Unfortunately for Dick, he encounters an entirely incompetent and clueless employee, played by Carol. Their back and forth gets more and more absurd until he learns that his power was turned off because he’s dead. This is said even as he’s standing and talking to the employees.

Next up, Dick brings his massive pup to a dog obedience class. Things go from bad to worse as he struggles to maintain control of the animal. It’s a losing but hilarious battle, for sure. Vicki and Tim bring their dogs to the class as well.

In the third and final skit, Dick and Tim are window repair who try but fail miserably to fix a storefront window—anything they do results in broken glass but a lot of laughs.

Proverbs 17:22 “A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.”
