Singer-songwriter Cody Carnes felt a call to worship music from a very young age. In fact, he was just a teenager when he led his first worship service. Since that time, Cody has continued to write music and perform in various bands.
Worship music even led him to meet fellow Christian artist Kari Jobe. The two went on to marry in 2014. Cody even helped write Kari’s hit song ‘Let The Heavens Open.’
In 2017, he set out on a solo career with his debut album ‘The Darker the Night/The Brighter the Morning.’
Today, he’s sharing a live performance of his latest single, ‘Good (Can’t Be Anything Else).’ Just listen as he praises the Lord with these inspiring lyrics.

You called me Your friend and I thought I was too far gone
Now I know You’re never gonna let me go”
On Instagram, Cody shared the inspiration behind the powerful words. “The Bible says taste and see that the Lord is GOOD and every GOOD thing comes from him! GOOD is not just a character trait.. it’s the very essence of who He is. He can’t be anything else.”
