'Sweet Jesus' The Oak Ridge Boys Live Performance

Feel the love of the Lord as The Oak Ridge Boys perform a live rendition of ‘Sweet Jesus.’ This worship song is a wonderful reminder that there is salvation in the Name of the Lord.

“Jesus, sweet Jesus
You love me just as I am
Jesus, sweet Jesus
I've been washed in the blood of the land”

The Oak Ridge Boys are known for their unique blend of country music and gospel. This iconic group consists of Duane Allen singing lead vocals, Joe Bonsall singing tenor, William Lee Golden with his baritone voice, and Richard Sterban singing deep bass. They all joined the group at different times, but this particular lineup of men have been together since 1973.

Today, the men are at Gaither Studios for a rousing rendition of ‘Sweet Jesus.’

“As a boy, I was always afraid to go down at alter call and kneel down
And over the years I wondered, was my soul saved or was it lost?
Then I realized salvation was all the grace of Jesus
And we'd been saved just the way he saved that thief on the cross”

Hearts all over the globe love to hear these special words. One person said, “This worship song reminds us that there is salvation in the Name of the Lord.”

Another wrote, “Oh yes sweet Jesus, I love Him, because you can come to Him as you are.  ❤  Hallelujah!”

What a perfect reminder that we are all accepted into His open and loving arms.

John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.”
