The little girl singing in the video is Aaliyah, and she is 9 years old. She does a wonderful job singing ‘The Greatest Love Of All’ by Whitney Houston, and her performance is loved by all!

While Aaliyah is singing, the judges are getting to their feet and dancing around while smiling and enjoying the music. They are waving their hands back and forth and clapping along to the song, truly enjoying Aaliyah’s performance.

The little girl’s family is also cheering her on and supporting her offstage. After she is finished singing ‘The Greatest Love Of All,’ she gets a standing ovation from the audience and judges.

The song ‘The Greatest Love Of All’ was written by the late Linda Creed during her battle with breast cancer. It was originally recorded in 1977 by George Benson, but Whitney Houston’s version is the most popular rendition of the song.

‘The Greatest Love Of All’ opens up with a bit of advice that Linda Creed wished to share with the world. She dedicates the song to the children around her and suggests that adults do more to bolster them in their youth. And she reminds the listener that they are the next generation and will be the ones driving us ahead.
