Right before her first album was supposed to be released, she got the call that her grandfather, and best friend, was dying. What she did then was incredible.
Lauren decided to put her music career on hold, trusting the Lord, and fly home to be with her grandfather in his last days.
Listen as she tells of how humbling the whole experience was. She describes feeling God's presence with her and her grandfather as he passed away. Looking back, she is super grateful that she listened to God's call and came back home. Those last days, hours, and moments with her grandfather are something she treasures dearly.
