Touching Eulogy For Comedy Great Jeanne Robertson From Son Beaver
For decades, Jeanne brought us tons of laughter and smiles. She shared so many funny stories about her life and the antics that she always managed to get into.
Through the years, we’ve all come to love her goofy husband, Left Brain, her scatter-minded son, Beaver, and her unmistakable Southern drawl.
Her comedy and speaking engagements took her all around the country. And when the coronavirus cancelled tours, Jeanne continued to entertain her fans through live videos and updates.
In June, Jerry ‘Left Brain’ Robertson passed away after battling a long-term illness.
Then, in August, Jeanne revealed on her Facebook that she had taken ill and would need to cancel upcoming shows. Then, just a few weeks later, we learned the devastating news.
Jeanne Robertson passed away at the age of 77 in her home in Burlington, North Carolina. An update on Facebook read, “It is with a heavy heart that we want you to know that Jeanne has passed. She had some health challenges lately, but this was unexpected.”
The post asked for prayers for the family, but found comfort knowing that Jeanne is up in Heaven with the Lord.
“We are sure - Jeanne is now telling stories in heaven, all the angels are laughing, and Left Brain is in the back with a big smile.”
Revelation 21:4 “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

Today's Devotional
A Prayer to Long for Heaven - Your Daily Prayer - July 18
Do you look forward to heaven? If I am being honest, my heart can be so focused on the now and building my “earthly kingdom” that I often miss the joy of focusing my thoughts and heart on eternal joys.
