'O Holy Night' Celtic Woman Performs Christmas Hymn

Be blessed as you listen to the angelic vocals of Celtic Woman sing ‘O Holy Night.’

This beloved Christmas song was written by poet and author Placide Cappeau in 1843, with music composed by Adolphe Adam. This well-known Christmas hymn is one of the most popular songs during the holiday season as it speaks to the magnitude of the birth of our Savior.

“O holy night the stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth”

Celtic Woman is an all-female group that comes from the creators of Riverdance.

Over the years, these talented ladies have introduced millions to the sounds of Ireland and, in the process, become a global phenomenon. Their pure tones and hauntingly beautiful harmonies put them in a league all their own. Today, they’re helping us ring in the Christmas season with this stunning performance of ‘O Holy Night.’

“Fall on your knees
O hear the angels' voices
O night divine
O night when Christ was born
O night divine o night
O night divine”

Jesus Christ came to Earth to die for our sins and it was truly a night like no other. This Christmas hymn always strikes a chord in my heart and it rings even more true today.

John 1:14 “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
