Prank Call To Pizza Shop Turns Into Kind Act For Homeless

When a prank call left them with tons of pizza, this restaurant turned it into an opportunity to help the homeless. Roberto Smenghi is the owner of Alpha Game Laser Q-Fun Gessate in Milan, Italy. During the holiday season, he received a call for an order of 60 pizzas at his restaurant.

After his staff had set up tables and started to cook the pizza, they realized that no one was showing up. The call had been a cruel prank. He easily could have given in to his anger, but Roberto decided to take this opportunity and turn it into something good. “We’re going to the central station. We called some organizations that will help us deliver the pizzas to the homeless. At least they’ve helped me make a good deed.”

In the video, you can see workers boxing up the many pizzas and getting them ready to be transported. These Good Samaritans will deliver all of their pizzas to homeless people around the city. What a blessing to watch others serve the community in such a selfless way.

This is truly a gift that will be greatly appreciated by those in need. Roberto and his staff went above and beyond to turn this prank into a way to serve. Who else is giving these Good Samaritans a big round of applause right now?

1 Peter 4:10 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
