Big Daddy Weave - Redeemed (Official Music Video)

Praise the Lord as Big Daddy Weave performs their classic worship song, ‘Redeemed.’

This hit single was originally released in 2012. It quickly rose to the top of the Christian charts and stayed there for 54 weeks. Now, ‘Redeemed’ has become an anthem of freedom and praise for our King in Heaven.

“I am redeemed, You set me free
So I'll shake off theses heavy chains
And wipe away every stain now I'm not who I used to be
I am redeemed I'm redeemed”

Contemporary Christian band Big Daddy Weave has been a staple in the music community for decades. With multiple number one hits, this group truly knows how to give the glory to the Lord.

Lead singer Mike Weaver shared that powerful story behind ‘Redeemed.’ After going through a period of self-doubt, he called out to the Lord to show him that he was loved. “God began to fill my heart and my mind with the stuff that He likes about me. It's unbelievable that the King of the Universe cares about me. He does that because of the blood of Jesus. He made me. He knows me more than anyone else.”

“All my life I have been called unworthy
Named by the voice of my shame and regret
But when I hear You whisper, "Child lift up your head"
I remember oh God, You're not done with me yet”

Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Today's Devotional

A Prayer for Victory over Sinful Thoughts - Your Daily Prayer - July 26

Victory over sinful thoughts starts with dependence upon God to stay free from enslaving sin. It’s a life lived with a surrendered mouth and heart before God. Winning requires us to remember our Rock, who rescues us and gives us a firm standing place, and our Redeemer, who rescues us from total loss.
