To everyone else, Christ was unveiled by God to a fallen, confused and chaotic world as the loving, restoring, grace-filled, gentle, yet powerful Lamb of God. But, when dealing with the corrupt religious system that had been called and anointed by God to represent the light of God’s love to a dark, blind and confused world, He left no room for misinterpretation. Referring to the greedy, zealous, prideful and hardhearted religious leadership of His day as “Hypocrites!”, “Frauds!”, and “blind guides”, Jesus was often found vehemently protesting against His church leadership’s hypocritically lying, untrustworthy and manipulatively wicked behavior. Beginning sentences with precautionary words like “Verily…” and “Beware…,” Christ cried loud spared not against the religious injustice, unfairness, and untrustworthiness of church leadership in charge during His earthly reign.
