I am a born again Christian who believes in the inerrant Scriptures of the Holy Bible, the death of Jesus on the cross, followed by his resurrection, and his imminent return to this earth. My desire is to see others come to him through Salvation! Below is Poem I wrote after becoming saved. The title is TOO LATE!One night in darkness, while I was sinking down to the pit of Hell I started thinking ;Its real, it's real I'm heading towards eternal torment I'll live where all the murderers, liars, thieves and Christ rejectors went. And then, I remembered that sweet old preacher with tears in his eyes. How he begged me to come to Jesus, the one who had already died, and was risen from death to pay for my sins. But I was too proud. I said, wait till tomorrow. What happened, what happened, here I am all wrapped in sorrow? For I died last night, and there's not another chance. Oh why didn't I listen to God's Word last night and do what it says, so I could have everlasting life in Heaven with Jesus and all my loved ones. It's too late now, there's no turning back. I'm lost in this darkness and eternal black. But suddenly I saw some light below my feet.I just knew I would be happier now that I could see. As it came closer and closer to me, I saw it was fire hot as could be The smoke stung my eyes, the light was so bright. The flames engulfed me, as I sank out of sight, NEVER to live with Jesus-the Savior of the world! If you are lost, don't wait like me, For I am tormented in this horrible sea!

A Prayer for the One Shrinking Back from Showing Hospitality - Your Daily Prayer - May 17

Christlike welcome of others is what Scripture calls us to do, not because we must as a checklist obligation, but because doing so reflects the heart of our Savior who lovingly bids us to come to Him despite our brokenness and sin.
