Do you ever feel paralyzed by decision-making, afraid of choosing the wrong path? Sometimes, in our desire to please God, we wait for unmistakable signs before moving forward. But God’s guidance isn’t always loud or obvious. Often, He leads us quietly, step by step, reminding us that His ability to lead is far greater than our ability to hear.

Scripture assures us God has already written every day of our lives (Psalm 139:16). He isn’t waiting for us to “mess up” so He can scold us. Instead, He is a patient Father who repeats His nudges as often as necessary. He is more concerned with our hearts than our flawless performance.

When we draw near to Him—through prayer, Scripture, and godly counsel—He sharpens our spiritual sensitivity and teaches us to hear His voice. Even if we stumble, He promises to weave our steps into His good and sovereign purposes (Proverbs 19:21). You don’t need to fear missing His will—He delights in leading you.

Father,

Teach me to rely not on my limited understanding, but on Your eternal wisdom.
