God loved us first, not because of anything we’ve done, but simply because of who He is. His love softens even the hardest hearts, enabling us to love Him and others in return. His sacrificial love transforms us and how we can share it with those around us. - Lynette Kittle

YOUR NIGHTLY PRAYER

Dear Father,
Our hearts are full of gratitude in remembering how You loved us first, softening our hearts and enabling us to love You and to love others. Lead us in the coming year to reach out and love others first, expecting nothing in return, but to share Your love with those around us. As we do, Lord, we ask that You guide us in how to convey Your love in a way that leads others to know You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
