Father,

Your Word says You are close to the brokenhearted, and I am holding onto that promise. I need You near because I cannot carry this alone. Thank You for not requiring strength from me before You draw close. Thank You that my grief does not push You away but instead invites Your presence. Help me sense You in the quiet moments, in the sleepless hours, and in the ordinary days that feel anything but ordinary. Hold my heart in Your tender hands tonight.
