Join us for short, daily Lenten meditations to help you draw closer to God in prayer and scripture reading as we prepare our hearts leading up to Resurrection Sunday!
In today's 9-minute devotion, we observe Good Friday by reflecting on Jesus' first and last words on the cross as documented in Luke 23. Just like when he raised Lazarus, Jesus didn't have to speak to God out loud, but did so for the benefit of those around him. Even in his last painful, soul-crushing moments he was thinking of the World, the people whom he loved until his last breath -- and beyond.
