NASHVILLE, Tenn. (NOVEMBER 6, 2026)
SEU Worship releases “Wild Rushing Wind (Viento Recio)” today, a new bilingual version of the collective's powerful worship anthem. Led by Johnny Peña, the English-Spanish recording was captured live during a chapel service at Southeastern University (SEU) as part of its Missions Week celebration.

The new rendition follows the success of the original "Wild Rushing Wind," which has garnered more than 7.2 million streams since its June release. The song currently sits at No. 175 on the CCLI chart, while videos featuring the anthem have accumulated more than 950,000 views.

Recorded during SEU's Missions Week, the bilingual version came to life in a chapel filled with students and missionaries from Spanish-speaking countries. With worshippers representing different languages and cultures gathered together, the decision to sing in both English and Spanish reflected the heart of the moment, creating a shared expression of worship that transcended language barriers.
“Wild Rushing Wind (Viento Recio)” continues SEU Worship's mission to create music that encourages the next generation to encounter God's presence. Through this bilingual release, the collective extends the song's reach while celebrating the unity found in worship across cultures and languages.
