Point of Grace Announces First Album in 14 Years 'Lady Wisdom' Releasing March 27

NASHVILLE, Tenn.
Among the top-selling artists in the history of Christian music with two Platinum and five Gold-certified projects to their credit, Point of Grace returns March 27 with Lady Wisdom—the iconic trio’s first all-new album in more than a decade. The Curb | Word Entertainment set was produced by Cindy Morgan, Stephen Leiweke, and Mike Wrucke and features 10 tracks, nine of which were co-penned by Point of Grace’s Shelley Breen, Denise Jones, and Leigh Cappillino.

Lady Wisdom also showcases contributions from some of the top writers in country and Christian music, including Natalie Hemby, Stephanie Chapman, Cindy Morgan, Blessing Offor, and Katy Nichole, among others. “What they helped us articulate musically has been living in our hearts for years and the result feels both timeless and deeply personal,” says Point of Grace’s Leigh Cappillino. “This is more than a collection of songs. It’s a body of work anchored to God’s Word that we hope will serve families and the Church for years to come.”

Carrying the album's overarching theme, title track “Lady Wisdom” extols the virtues of a Biblically-rooted life. “As a wife, mom, daughter, and friend, wisdom is something I conscientiously try to gain more of every day,” says the trio's Shelley Breen. “There is no better place to find it, with better returns, than the Bible—specifically the book of Proverbs. We wanted to write an album that would point people to a place that would give them the best guidance and council possible.”

Additional highlights of Lady Wisdom include the resolute debut singles “Fire” and “Stand,” both now available on streaming platforms; as well as “Lunch Box Notes,” a poignant ballad articulating the tenderness of a mother's love; the vibrant pop anthem “Good Friends, Good Medicine”; and the stirring album closer “The Night Will Be No More,” featuring guest vocals from singer/songwriter Rachael Lampa.

“The older we get, the more we see pain and suffering, and yet our relationship with Jesus has gotten sweeter as we cling to His promises and His way of living,” states Point of Grace’s Denise Jones. “It’s our prayer for our own children, and anyone who listens to this album, to understand that His promises are true, we have hope in our future, and there is a best way to live where we can find peace and joy no matter what is happening around us.”

Point of Grace is set to debut selections from Lady Wisdom as the special guest on select dates of acclaimed author and speaker Jennifer Rothschild's “Hope of Heaven Tour.” The trio will appear with Rothschild next month in Laurel, Mississippi (April 23); Huntsville, Alabama (April 24); Nashville, Tennessee (April 25); and Louisville, Kentucky (April 26).
