Leanna Crawford Releases New Single 'Living Room Floor' From Upcoming Album

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 26, 2026)
Award-winning singer/songwriter Leanna Crawford continues the rollout of her forthcoming sophomore album, Thank God (July 24), with today's release of "Living Room Floor"; a contemplative new single inspired by the biblical story of Mary and Martha that serves as a reminder to slow down and prioritize time in God's presence over life's endless demands.

Written by Crawford, Jacob Sooter, and Gracie Jacob, and produced by Jacob Sooter, "Living Room Floor" captures Crawford's signature blend of vulnerable storytelling, country influences, and faith-filled encouragement. The song reflects on the tension between striving and simply being with God, inviting listeners to pause amid the busyness of everyday life.

"I've always related to Martha, the one who stays busy, checks off the to-do list, and feels like there's always something that needs to be done," says Crawford. "But Jesus reminds us that what He wants most isn't our productivity or our accomplishments; He simply wants us. That's actually one of the hardest things for me: to stop striving, sit at His feet, and just be with Him. I hope it gives people permission to pause, take a deep breath, and meet with Jesus wherever they are. Everyone's 'living room floor' looks different: it might be in the car, at the kitchen sink, or folding laundry, but my prayer is that this song creates a moment where people can simply sit with Him and remember that His presence is enough."

Alongside the single, Crawford is giving fans an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at the making of Thank God through a new episodic documentary series chronicling her music, faith, and personal journey. The first episode is available now on YouTube, with new installments premiering every Monday leading up to the album's release.
