Lauren Daigle Brings New Life To Previously Unrecorded Track, 'Let It Be A Hallelujah'
August 04, 2025

Two-time GRAMMY Award winner and multi-platinum selling artist Lauren Daigle has released a brand-new song from the vault, “Let It Be a Hallelujah.” As Daigle looks back on ten years of How Can It Be, “Let It Be a Hallelujah” marks a snapshot in time between the groundbreaking debut album and her breakthrough smash, Look Up Child. Co-written with the late Busbee and Jonas Myrin, the trio crafted a passionate dedication to living a life that matters - a message that resonates with Lauren now more than ever.
“Eight years have passed since we wrote this song, a lot has happened since then,” shares Lauren. “I'm so grateful to have this song back in my life at this time, because had it been released after we’d written it, I wouldn't have really understood it. The one thing that I can and will keep coming back to is that living a life of worship has never failed me.”
Earlier this week it was announced that Lauren is nominated as Artist of The Year at the 56th Annual GMA Dove Awards. Already a twelve time winner, this marks the tenth year in a row that Lauren has been nominated for at least one Dove Award. The 56th Annual GMA Dove Awards will air exclusively on TBN and the TBN+ App Friday, October 10, 2025 at 7:30 pm and 10 pm EST and simulcast on SiriusXM The Message.
Since the release of her critically acclaimed debut album How Can It Be in 2015, Lauren Daigle has become a household name renowned for her moving vocals and relatable lyrics garnering over one billion streams and selling out US and international tours. She has won two Grammy® awards, seven Billboard Music Awards, four American Music Awards, and twelve GMA Dove Music Awards but through it all she has remained steadfast in her faith and passion for sharing messages of hope and positivity with all those who cross her path.
