Born and raised in the music industry, Kim's story began in the church, where she led worship at a young age across various congregations in New York. Her passion for music carried her to Berklee College of Music, where her artistry flourished and doors to the mainstream music world began to open.

Kim soon found herself writing for and collaborating with global icons like Lil Wayne, Christina Milian, Coco Jones, and The Summer Set. Her talent secured a publishing deal with Sony ATV/Stellar Music, and her vocals and writing caught the attention of Monte Lipman at Republic Records. She quickly rose to prominence in the Latin pop world with hit singles like “Como” featuring Daddy Yankee and “Ay Ay Ay” with Pitbull, performing on major stages including a tour with Sean Paul and festivals like Austin City Limits.

But amid the spotlight, Kim felt a divine tug—a calling back to her true purpose.

“My music is about finding true identity in Jesus and allowing Him to set you free from yourself and the sin that so easily entangles,” Kim shares. “Jumping Fences is the first song I wrote after leaving the industry. It’s about realizing I was never meant to do life alone, and that real freedom only came when I surrendered everything to God.”
