CAIN Releases Powerful New Anthem 'Living Water'

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (JUNE 05, 2026)
Award-winning trio CAIN releases their new single, "Living Water," available everywhere today. The song delivers a timely reminder that no matter where we've been searching for fulfillment, Jesus will meet us right where we are and offer something the world never can.

At the heart of the song is a simple but profound truth: so often we find ourselves returning to wells that leave us empty. Whether it's success, approval, comfort, or control, the things we look to for satisfaction eventually run dry. But what Jesus offers is something different: living water that never runs out. More than a song about spiritual thirst, "Living Water" is an anthem of renewal. It reminds listeners that even when circumstances remain unchanged, God can revive a weary soul in an instant.

“The heart of this song is that Jesus is the prize, not Jesus giving you the prize. He is it," shares Madison Cain Johnson of CAIN. "He’s the prayer you’re praying, the answer you need, the living water. Things, even good things, will leave you over and over again. We’ve learned that the hard way, and we’re committing to not make that mistake again this time.”

The message arrives during a significant season for the band. Following last year’s release of "I Made It," a song celebrating God's faithfulness through difficult circumstances, "Living Water" represents the next chapter of the story. "I Made It" was a testimony to survival, and "Living Water" is a reminder of where strength comes from.

CAIN debuted "Living Water" on the Grand Ole Opry stage on May 8 and recently performed the song for radio programmers last week at the CMB Momentum Conference. Ahead of its release, K-LOVE selected the track as a K-LOVE First, featuring it at the top of every hour yesterday, June 4.

A Prayer for God to Empty You - Your Daily Prayer - June 5

Instead of looking for an escape from your trial, your exhaustion, your pain by trying to fill your own “cup” with whatever the world offers as satisfying and fulfilling, perhaps the Lord wants you to look to Him first to satisfy you and fill your lack and limitations.
