Bethel Music's Noah Paul Harrison Releases New Single 'Christ That We Lift Higher'

LOS ANGELES (April 17, 2026)
Bethel Music’s Noah Paul Harrison releases new single, “Christ That We Lift Higher” now available on all streaming platforms. The track is a powerful declaration of redemption and surrender focused entirely on Jesus.

Recorded in Redding, Calif., “Christ That We Lift Higher” is centered on the truth that Jesus alone is worthy because He is the One who paid for our salvation and gave us new life. It calls believers to lift Christ higher in response to the grace we could never earn on our own. The new single also carries a real and lived-in analog sound, reminiscent of a hometown garage set captured straight to cassette.

Says Harrison, “‘Christ That We Lift Higher’ came out of a special songwriting session with David Brymer, Josh Miller, and Paul Garcia. It was a morning session in Costa Mesa, at a Circuit Riders songwriting camp. Paul had brought a really cool song idea, and when he hit the bridge, repeating ‘it’s Christ that we lift higher,’ we all instantly felt that this was the song we were meant to work on.”

He continues, “As we fleshed out the song, I remember thinking, ‘I can’t wait to lead this at church,’ which is always a helpful indicator for me that I might be going in the right direction. I love how centered this song is on Jesus – lifting up His name and pointing us to His sacrifice and faithfulness in our lives.

Harrison now lives in New York City with his wife, Carling, and their twins, Jack and Frances, and leads worship for Bethel New York. As a child, he would wake up to the sound of his dad playing guitar and worshiping on Saturday mornings. Harrison soon learned a few chords himself and started leading worship in his parents’ home church at the age of 12. He quickly realized his deep love for music, and worship specifically, so he began leading his youth group. There, Harrison fell more in love with Jesus and became passionate about serving in the local church. In 2017, he moved to Redding, Calif., where he attended BSSM for three years and served as a worship leader at Bethel Church. He lived in Redding for seven years before making the big move to New York City at the end of 2023. Harrison is consistently reminded of his true identity as a son and friend of God, finding that leading worship is far easier when he knows that God values his authenticity and honesty more than anything else.
