Thomas L. Felder âPeacemakerâ is a native of Queens, New York. He holds the level of 9th Degree Red Belt in the discipline of Chinese Goju, and Founder of the Tensho Goju Karate system. Felder has trained martial arts for over thirty seven years and has been a major asset to the military and civilian communities in the United States and several overseas locations. He is an accomplished technician of martial arts with certifications in Tensho Goju, Chinese Goju, Tae Kwon Do, and Close Engagement Tactics. Felder has received awards of honor for his decades of dedication and commitment to the martial arts as a two times (2 times) inductee of the World Hall of Fame (World head of Sokeship Council), and Action martial Arts Magazine Hall of Honors. In addition, he has received âMaster in Actionâ award, âInstructor of the Yearâ award, and many awards from military organizations for conducting Seminars and workshops. Felder is also known for hosting a 4 year successful Time Warner Cable series entitled âSelf Defense for All Agesâ in North Carolina. Moreover, he has organized and directed multiple Open German/American martial arts tournaments in Germany, Open tournaments in the United States and director of the First Annual Ron Van Clief Cup Classic Tournament in St. Thomas USVI. Felder is an over achiever and considered blessed to be a blessing. His motto stands as "Making a difference one day at a timeâ.
