Welcome to the Official Deaf Evangelism EA Page! We will do our best to keep everyone who is in the deaf ministry, or who is interested in the deaf ministry, updated with photos, videos from past events, and information on upcoming events locally and nationally. God Bless you all!
UPCI Deaf Evangelism Ministry is to evangelize and empower the Deaf with the gospel. To teach and train interpreters in a manner that demonstrates a respect for Deaf culture and language.
Our Motto: "Every Soul Counts".
Our goal? The whole gospel to the whole world!
Two hands - nothing especially important about these hands. They are not unique in any manner. They have the usual number of fingers and two thumbs. Yet those two are unique because for someone who is deaf they become two ears.
These two hand spell out words, make sentences, make meanings to the deaf that otherwise would be unnoticed by the deaf. They bridge the communication gap between the hearing world and the non-hearing world.
These two hand though have a very difficult task before them. They not only must interpret for the deaf; they help the deaf to understand and comprehend.
The deaf have souls just like those who hear. Their own salvation depends upon what those two hand tell them. Without those two hands the deaf would never hear the story of the creation, the life of Christ and - most important - they would never know the plan of salvation. Two hands play such an importnat role for a deaf person's soul.
Two hand - they need not be beautiful. They must only be willing to share with the deaf. These two hand not only become ears and voice, they open the way for the deaf to be saved.
Only two hands; but, so much more! They are different and unique! Thank God for two hand to reach out to the deaf and let them know there is love.
A Prayer When a Situation Seems Impossible - Your Daily Prayer - April 24
My wife has recently painted these words on a wall in our house as a reminder to us both: “Mightier than the waves of the sea, is His love for us!” (Inspired by Psalm 93:4). Please remember this. Mightier than the tempest you are facing is His love for you!
