I am a student, and I am concentrating in Engineering and Human Biology. I am a great sinner, but our Lord is a great Forgiver. I have come a long way, and I plan on moving forward. I want to love more, live more, and learn more, all in Christ. Even though I am an engineer/bio person by nature, I have outside passions as well. I love music. I am fascinated with 7 string guitars, and I love heavy metal, the faster, the more technical, the heavier, the better. But that doesn't mean I am closed minded. as a matter of act I love music of all kind. Except main stream rap. it's sensless and a waste of my time. technically, it's not music to begin with, but I recognize rap as an art form, and like it as such. I actually happen to like hip-hop and rap, just not the senseless kind. I love jazz, I played tenor sax for a year in high school. I play on a 6 string bass as well, and I'm learning the drums. I love mariachi music, and blues stuff (a la SRV). In addition to that, I like to draw. I am good pencil artist. But not good enough to make it into a career. Also, I am in love with an amazing young lady who I recently got engaged to. But with that said. I am involved with my church, as well as several christian groups on campus. I play bass in my church choir, and I help coordinate praise and worship stuff with a campus crusade group. I have learned to love Christ, and I want to make as many friends as I can who have the same views, but that doesn't mean I'm picky, I make friends with everyone. So if you like chatting, hit me up. If you wanna talk about music. let's talk. If you wanna talk about anything...cool. I like motorcycles, competition shooting, cooking, I am in Tae Kwon Do, I love watching movies, but above all, being with my family and friends is the best.
A Prayer for When You Feel Lost - Your Daily Prayer - April 27
When we feel lost, God is our true north. He is the one who can lead us where He wants us. It is so easy to get caught up in listening to the world, so sometimes, it is best to shut it out to create a quiet space for God to work.
