OF ALL THE AMAZING TALENTED PEOPLE IN THE WORLD OF INSPIRATIONAL MUSIC, Wolfgang Baron Von Hildebrandt soars to the top of the charts. He has been inspiring audiences for over 20 years with an energy that is nothing less than infectious! Wolfgang is an example of a dedicated human being, who, in the aftermath of 911, turned his own grief and sorrow into the energy and drive and music form that brings something different to the table--a refreshing contemporary sound of inspiration and healing that can be enjoyed by all. This exceptional Singer/Songwriter and Human Rights Activist is from Cologne, Germany, was raised in Duesseldorf, where he began his musical career, thanks to the positive influence of his father who introduced him to piano and guitar at the age of six. Wolfgang went on to study music intensively for over 14 years, where he became the lead singer of a major choir and later, choir director. We now find a very spirited, energetic and joyful musician has emerged in Wolfgang Baron Von Hildebrandt with a quest to promote a spirit of unity through his music! Wolfgangs accomplishments now include successful recording of 10 CDs and over 100 songs for listeners of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. In 1997 Wolfgang turned down an offer as the lead singer for the German Military Band and focused his efforts on pursuing his quest to turn guns into guitars as a focus of his musical career. Needless to say, his efforts were very successful as proven by winning his first contract with EMI records. This brilliant young singer found himself in front of an amazing audience, with his first major performance for Pope John II and Opera Singer, Andrea Bocelli in Paris, France. Five years later on September 11, 2001, Wolfgang composed the European song Lets Build a House of Peace and dedicated it to the people of New York. This song was not written for the past, but instead represents Europes gifts and promise of a brighter future to New York City, the pulse of the free world. Wolfgang recorded this song in the Electriclady Studios, New York. Imagine! Wolfgang motivated and inspired young, enthusiastic NYPD officers to come together in a spirit of unity, and in their spare time, to team up with Wolfgang to record the chorus and back up vocals. The German Chancellor, Gerhard Schroeder then gave the CD later as a gift from the German Government to U.S. President George W. Bush. Wolfgang made his very first performance in 2005 at the UN with one song entitled United Nations , under the musical direction of Emmy Award Winner, John Wineglass. Appropriately the event was held at the UN Headquarters on July 3rd, 2005 in the Dag Hammarskjld Library Auditorium in front of top official representative staff members and visitors of 191 Nations. This was an outstanding performance presented by vocalist Wolfgang Hildebrandt, and was viewed by over six million people Europe. The entire performance was recorded by ARD-TV station and was later made into a television documentary. The Permanent Mission of Germany to the United Nations in New York was honoured to host Wolfgang Hildebrandt. They are pleased that his songs promoting the spirit of coexistence and cooperation as enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations. The Earth Society Foundation, founded by John McConnell and Margaret Meade to perform yet again at the United Nations, invited Wolfgang once again. During the early hour of 148 A.M., on March 20, 2008 Wolfgangs magnificent voice filled the UN Peace Garden with the spirituality of unity during the annual Peace Bell Ringing Ceremony commemorating the original Earth Day Wolfgang's political and spiritual beliefs are greatly inspired by the man that he still views to this day as his mentor, the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He places his keenly discerning artistic ability in the service of helping others and spreading peace. He does this through many TV campaigns, charities and concerts in Austria, Africa, Belgium, Switzerland, Paris, Texas, New York. Wolfgang is also a favourite among youth, who have heard him through hundreds of radio interviews and many speeches in schools and universities. Throughout his career, Wolfgang has been an advocate for civil rights and humanitarian causes and holds a lifetime membership with the N.A.A.C.P. In 2005 Wolfgang founded the International World Peace Tour and is Chairman of World Peace Tour 4 Children which is a non-profit 501 (c) organization that produces worldwide concert tours. The concert features famous artists promoting peace and tolerance around the globe. Wolfgang does all of this while simultaneously developing projects worldwide in order to educate and empower children. Wolfgang later received an award as a Global Civil Society Champion for 2007 by the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) for his outstanding work. He also received many awards including one from Lord Mayor Fritz Schramma of Cologne, Germany for his humanitarian work and Charity performances. Receiving a very special Clown d Honeur Award from the World Parliament of Clowns also honored him. An impressive career has emerged and at its peak with the recent distinguished honour of being knighted as a Baron by Katharina Princess Sobieski zu Schwarzenberg who is the last living relative of the King of Poland, John III Sobieski, one of the most notable monarchs of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
