REDpoint International Versatilt
Problem: The individual seated in a non-tilting wheelchair does not give the caregiver appropriate access for treatment. There is no ability to reposition the individual as needed. Millions of Americans are wheelchair bound and caregivers struggle to provide quality services like dentistry, podiatry or even hair care. The cost of tilting electric wheelchairs is not generally covered by insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. Solution: REDpoint's Versatilt product tilts various models of wheelchairs up to 65°. This allows professionals, like dentists, to give service to those who are wheelchair bound. The potential market size for the Versatilt is over 2.9 million units. REDpoint expects to initially penetrate at least 1% of this market opportunity resulting in a revenue potential of $18 million.
