Obligations are rarely, if ever, fun. No one wants to feel compelled and required to do something. However, every adult understands obligations and responsibilities all too well. There is an endless list of things in life that we are obligated to do, likely none of which we would do otherwise. Nevertheless, because doing things we don’t necessarily want to do is part of being a fully functional human being, we do them anyway.

When thinking of those obligations, you can likely rattle them off easily and without much thinking. One activity that is likely to be on your list of requirements and obligations is household chores. Cleaning up around the house is no one’s idea of fun, but it has to be done because who wants to live in a pigsty? Instead of doing the work around the house, he has farmed it out to his daughter, teaching her how to perform various cleaning activities. To help you out, he shows how it is possible to get a child to do the housework.
