Emcee, Producer & Writer Re-establishing the sincerity of Jesus’ name through the discipleship of self and others. Throughout society, Jesus Christ’s name has been demeaned and degraded to little more than a cuss word. Most people are clueless to His worthiness and have no idea what respect and sincerity His name deserves. Jesus Disciple’s mission is to re-establish that sincerity by obeying the great commission of preaching the gospel and making disciples of all nations, specifically the nation of Hip Hop. (Matthew 28:19) At the same time, he challenges those who already claim to be disciples of Jesus to look in the mirror and examine themselves to see if they really are, of the faith. Because one of the main reasons for such wide spread disrespect of His name is the fact that so many so-called “Christians†have such a low view of Jesus Christ themselves. His mission doesn’t stop there, though. There is a myth that emcee’s of the Christian faith have to be corny, weak and simplistic, but JD completely obliterates that stereotypical notion in every song with creative beats, aggressive rhymes and elaborate lyricism. He also breaks stereotypes in the Christian circuit as well. Instead of preaching the popular gospel of prosperity and only focusing on one of God’s attributes, namely, His love. He clearly articulates less popular biblical truths, such as; God’s holiness and justice and man’s depravity and need for repentance. "If you're looking for unabashed honesty from someone who has a true heart for change, look no further than my man JD. He is well rounded and his style is versatile. Don't sleep on this man's raps!" (Heath McNease) "Jesus Disciple's raps are delivered with conviction and belief. All sucka MCs beware, the message of truth will hit you right between the eyes. It's positive music, and I give him props." (Kris Kohls of Adema) "This music has to be the soundtrack to every angel of death's mission. A verbal apocalypse if I've ever heard one. Jesus Disciple is definitely a revelation bulldog that makes militant cats pray for peace." (Sev Statik of Tunnel Rats & Deepspace 5) "JD always says what's on his mind. He doesn't make ordinary music that's easily recognized, he has his own style that's futuristic of sorts. Making you think and question. He's a crowd rocker, but definitely not a crowd pleaser." (Realistikk) For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn't be a servant of Christ. Galations 1:10
