Nate Bargatze Hilariously Shares How Doctor Visits Change After 40
Nate Bargatze hilariously shared how doctor visits change after turning 40. The popular funnyman mentions that those visits to medical professionals have changed rather dramatically. Watch the short but hysterical clip to listen to Nate tell Jimmy Fallon how doctor visits after turning 40 have become even less enjoyable.
No one enjoys going to the doctor. Who really wants to be poked, prodded and stuck with a needle and told everything that is wrong with you? On top of that, you then have to pay them a pretty penny for that horrible, potentially mentally and physically scarring experience.
Your doctor might be the kindest, most personable and warmest person in the world, but you still don’t look forward to seeing them. The only thing worse than a doctor’s visit is a trip to the DMV or your local Walmart. Those are three of the unhappiest, most miserable places on Earth, and it’s not even close.
But don’t worry, as Nate hysterically shared, those dreaded doctor visits only get much, much worse after you turn 40. In a clip posted on YouTube, he mentioned how, before turning the big 4-0, going to the doctor is a breeze, a piece of cake. You’re in and out, with minimal questions from the doctor. However, after reaching and surpassing that marker, the questions from the medical professional increase and become a lot more invasive.
“And then you pass 40, and the doctor’s like, ‘You mind shutting that door behind you?’” he said. “He’s like, ‘I’d lock it. We’re about to get after it.’ And it was the first time I’ve ever been talked to old. And it was just me and him, and he goes, ‘Do you pee a lot at night?’ And I was like, ‘Did my dad just walk in the room?’ Like, hold old – I never peed at night in my life.”
Later in the clip, Nate added that the doctor’s questions have ruined him forever.
2 Corinthians 4:16 “For which cause we do not give way to weariness; but though our outer man is getting feebler, our inner man is made new day by day.”

A Prayer for the One Who Is Afraid of God’s Glory and Power - Your Daily Prayer - June 11
We should revere the Lord, as He is more magnificent than we can imagine. Yet, if we treat Him like a thunderstorm, rolling through in power to wreak havoc wherever and whenever He pleases, then we forget that He is a good God.
