People don't realize what a profound bond occurs when you live in a foster home. TV , for the most part portrays foster care and those relationships as a temporary and horrible experience. Nothing could be further from the truth in our home. My biological boys have a beautiful Asian "Ate' (pronounced Aw tay) and grew up with her a very special person. They have 4 adopted brothers and sisters. If you ask DJ he will tell you..He can mess with his sisters all he wants..but NOBODY and I mean NOBODY ever better make them cry or the BIG BROTHER will come roaring out! The same feeling is present with our current 4 fosters, (two separate sibling sets) We joke aboput how living in our home is like having the SEAL team back you up..we handle it FAMILY STYLE. This video is a beautiful example.

What a loving family to be so inclusive and to understand that when it comes to family, the more the merrier!

Sweet...makes me think of the "other 12" we had that didn't get to stay with us forever! :( :) <3 Thankful that we still have contact with the majority of them and they are ALL doing well with their forever families, right where GOD wanted them to be!
