This is the only kind of gospel music I will listen to. "Lots of the songs they have nowadays seem to be too contemporary.

Hi Richard, I finely found you on face book. Forgot what I wrote you, you'll have to refresh my memory. I do have something to share I have been writing with a man who must not believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit because when I told him to check out Aqilla Nash's word he told me to read 1 Corin 13:12. For sure we are not on the same page. I liked your commit when you wrote you like to hear a fresh Word from the Lord. What a difference. I believe Psalms 37:4 & 5 is a Word from the Lord & also Jeri 29:11 tells me God has this awesome plan for all of us. I stand amazed at what He has done already in my life. Plus now a book that will be in its second print any day. Have a Blessed day.

Sara's rendition of "Closer Walk" really pulled at my heart strings. Patsy CLine has been a favorite of mine for many years and I have appreciated Grand Ole Opry music for the uplifting and optimistic feelings that comes with their broadcast. We live in a great country and right now, at this time in our history, we need more of this kind of music than ever before. So please, Sara, keep singing your songs.

My heartfelt apology for not knowing the name Sara Evans. I'm not a big fan of country music, but I'll sure listen to a performance like this. Just as rock has a lot of negative references to drugs and sex, country has it's negative references to wild women and hard drinking. Thank God for Sara being one of the artists willing to break that mold. PLEASE continue to sing these old hymns at your concerts. The world needs to hear these hymns, and not because of their historic significance in the history of music. People to need to hear of the HOPE that is represented through faith in Jesus Christ. My my heartfelt prayer for Sara Evans is her continued success and influence in the music industry, while using her talent to lift up and glorify Jesus Christ.

I miss the old gospel songs. Don't hear them enough anymore. Unfortunate the younger ones are not hearing these inspired songs.
