my birthday is sat and every year I'm left to feel sad hoping my dad will call it never happens. I had my son when I was 16 so this song I relate to. I plan on spending my birthday with all the amazing people in my life my husband and two children :) I will pray for my dad but going to try and not cry about him this year!

I am raising 2 of my cousins kids and it frustrates me so much how she can just walk away and have a new life and I'm picking up the pieces. We have also adopted our youngest daughter and she to can't understand her mother walking away. I could never walk away from any of the 6 kids. I will say a prayer for each child out there to adopt the love we give them to replace the love not being given by the parents that they look no where but to God for the peace that only he can give.

I have lived this for 17 years now and guess what...we are fine! But it is only because of the love that God the Father and Jesus has given us over the years! He provided so many people to love on us and be there for us! I thank God every day for the beautiful little girl He allowed me to raise and now she is almost grown up now! Thank you Brenda for all you did in those early years and for sending this to me!

I had always wanted my father to be there for me. I on the other hand was lucky if I did recieve a gift from him. He was not there for me. At age 18 I realized that I didn't need a father on earth, I knew my father was up in heaven and was looking over me. He gave me my beautiful little girl at age 18 and I am blessed to have both my Lord and my daughter in my life.

Is wonderful how the Lord makes things right! Even if in this case, the girl getting pregnant seemed another mistake, since she had gone through a similar situation which broke her heart, is amaizing the gift of Love through a new is the most wondefulr thing there is , the Lord turns what it seemes a failure into a wonderful victory and blessing and it gives us a new start and a new life, something to live for...Than you Jesus,

So it's better to abort her than raise her alone? I think NOT! Many beautiful children come from single parent homes, and although it's not ideal, God can/will honor that commitment to the child.

Forgives and pray for that person is the only way to ture happiness because if u don't do that u will always be look for someone to fill that void that only u an God can heal if u ask his help, if not u will always have a hole in your heart that missing place or void wanting to be filled.

Beautiful, and touching. I posted this video, to encourage all the parents who don't take the time for their children.

I was raised by my grandparents. My parents NOT being there or being parents themselves made me a better parent.

There is rarely anything in this life that can make you more of a man than being involved with children. The sad thing is so many males run from this after some point of involvement, or just in entirety. Men refusing to show up and lead becomes an increasing epidemic everyday, prayer and setting examples are our only weapons against this (in my opinion). For those that lead, that show up, that stand in the gap, thank you. For those that run and run and run, I'm praying for you.

Rachel, I know how you're feeling. My husband and I are raising our grandson, who is now 16 months old. His mother, our daughter, is off doing her own thing, and suffers from bipolar and PTSD, and his dad is in prison for 5 more years. The only thing we can do is pray and do our best for the precious little ones God has placed into our care. ((((HUGS)))) to you and all who have taken on the responsibility of another person's child.
