I was raised by my grandparents. My parents NOT being there or being parents themselves made me a better parent.

There is rarely anything in this life that can make you more of a man than being involved with children. The sad thing is so many males run from this after some point of involvement, or just in entirety. Men refusing to show up and lead becomes an increasing epidemic everyday, prayer and setting examples are our only weapons against this (in my opinion). For those that lead, that show up, that stand in the gap, thank you. For those that run and run and run, I'm praying for you.

All children need there dad in there life if he livening.Girl are a daddy girl.But most of all they need to know about there Heavenly Father.

Very sad how could a dad do this to his child? I can't imagine not visiting my children and grandchildren.

I want to thank You, Jesus, cause You're the only One Who can take a bad situation and make something good come out of it.

A beautiful song with a strong message. I have look after children who have been put on side while parents go off on some tangent or try to sort their stuff out, or the children are place in care because they don't know how to love themselves left alone their own offspring. This song reminded me of all the children that don't have that love in their lives and their parents wherever they be. When a Child comes into my care I know that with my Lord and Savior in my life showing me what Love is truly about I cannot begin to love, care, or heal this child or pray for the parents without judgement in my heart towards them. An absent father to me is better than an abusive, angry, hitting father who only knew that showing love is to hit and hurt his son. I Thank GOD the Father in Heaven for showing me a better way.

I came out of an abusive family, into an abusive marriage. Now, I'm happily married and my child will always have good birthdays! God is an amazing Parent, He loves those have no love from their biological parents. Only through His love can I let my parents go. I had to realize that they don't love me and that there are some things that I cannot change. I can only move forward in the direction that God is leading me and cherish all of those who are in my life.

The world is full of this, we are raising two grandchildren because their parents can't stay away from drugs or alcohol, or a parent just doesn't care enough to give his or her child the attention they need. But we have a heavenly Father that never fails us, that's the grace of it all! Thank you Father!
