Bless your heart, Tammy. I am so glad that my testimony is helping you and others...and THAT is what it is all about. Father God told me that not one ounce of our suffering is in vain. A year ago He had me call my mother (...she lives in another state), and I apologized to her for not being able to be a better daughter. I told her I understand that she had a horrible mother and childhood, so, she couldn't give what she didn't get. She has never apologized to me, but, that is between her and GOD. She lives with my niece who told me not to contact her again, and she has not called me. What we all need to know is that there needs to come a time when we rise above what was done to us, WE take accountability for ourselves, and between GOD and us we turn our pain into gain/an awesome TESTIMONY!!!

thanks for sharing your story, my dad was alive but he was an alcoholic and so it absence in another sense. I love Stven C. Chapman, I'm 62 by the way and am right where u are too. My parents both died 32 years ago 6 weeks apart from one another, but God kept putting it in my mind and heart to go to my Dad (after Mom died) and hug him and tell him I love him. It took a lot of pushing from God, but I finally did it and 2 weeks later he died in my arms. But at least I did that and can live with myself. thanks again.

That's right, my sister in Christ!...ONLY GOD!!! This song is so anointed! I have had trouble getting un-stuck, because now that I have had no other human to try to please, I couldn't get motivated, because I was trained to believe I had so little value that I can't do things just for me. This song woke me up to the fact that we are to do ALL UNTO THE LORD, and we will be blessed by that, and so will others! Come the dawn! Praise the Lord!

You're right Lynn, this song reminded me there is something more important than feeling sorry for myself this morning, pleasing the Father! The only One that matters!

Listened... and like this song. Reminds me a little of "Dive", which is one of my favorites of his! Good Morning Scott!

This song made me cry happy tears because I am 66, and I am only just now starting to realize I have value. I am a mature Christian, and I know God Loves me...but, my daddy died when I was 13, and I was never able to please my mother, and pretty much no one else either. My mom and I lived together for 11 years, back in my 30s, and I tore down my body trying to do enough, working like a man or a mule, and it got back to me that she told everyone I did "nothing". I live alone now, but, a week ago I re-injured my back, still trying to do enough, and I am sitting here in pain...finally realizing that I don't have to please anyone but GOD. Praise God! I needed this song! I love this song!

yet again SCC has hit the mark with his words and music. We get so lost in the daily "stuff" and forget that HE is in the middle of it all! Thanks SCC for being faithful to tell the truth in your music!
