Amen. At Jesus time, there was only water and wine and no orange juice like we do today. The miracle in Cana tells us that when God gives something, it's the finest in quality and never a second-rated. Jesus did have wine but most of us don't follow His Jewish diet, so the custom of His days cannot be our execuses to drink wine. Today we are blessed with hundreds of kinds of drinks, and we are also seeing the consistent disasterous outcome of alcohol consumption as alcohol has strong addictive power unlike most of other drinks. Many of us Protestant Christians have the godly safe tradition of total abstinence from alcohol and such good tradition doesn't need to be changed at all. Christians must not get drunk as it is commanded so in the Holy Bible, therefore it's best if Christians don't drink alcohol at all. And Christians who don't drink are more trust-worthy as such lifestyle means possibly more strength against trials and temptations.
