Thanks to all who have time to respond. I do have children who in fact are also having children now. So I am a Gran. Thanks to those who understood my opinion and gave a positive or a negative feedback. Thanks especially to those who responded with Godly maturity to a Godtube post, especially to Heather Gilbert. The comment I made had enabled people to let out their content, a reaction that my pastor used to describe the contents in a container. They are two. One is bitter and the other is sweet. Until grapes get to winepress, they are all grapes. After the pressure of the press that squeezes out the juice, the grapes are classified as sweet or bitter. People have rights to their opinions. Go ahead and spill out more.

Giving Vitamin C is not child abuse, and its teaching experince to allow babies to explore their taste buds..

The laughter and the joy that our kids brings is immeasurable. I have videos of my kids eating lemon ice when they were young and now when we watch those old video's we laugh our heads off. Good job parents creating fun memories. I love the saying if life gives you lemons make lemonade. It was wonderful to see the faces of those little ones making others laugh, I saw most of them laughing afterwards too. PS my kids now love lemonade and sour candy, one of my kid her favorite candy is sour patches. How fun, thank you for sharing the laughter which is the best medicine.

Unless lemons were the forbidden fruit, God created them for our health and enjoyment. No children were harmed in this video. They were simply experiencing one of God's provisions, and pleasures in my opinion.

This video is good and some people probably failed to see how all babies made more or less the same face when they tasted the lemons. Evidence for God, a common denominator to all these babies who made people react the same way!

We have more issues than this, concerning child abuse, so we should be focusing our attention on those things.

child abuse? definitely not. cute? yes. However, citrus *is* one of the things young babies are more likely to be allergic to, especially if exposed to it early on. Just like any new food you give to baby, be safe!

Apparently some of you don't have children and do not know that this is teaching a child the different flavors of food, some may like the lemon, some may not, but in no way is it child abuse, how else are they going to learn about different tastes if you don't give it to them, my children had lemons when they were babies, now they are grown and giving it to their children, and if this is child abuse I pray for you.

God made lemons, has a sense of humor, and loves introducing us to them. He must have lots of fun with lemons!

The sensation of taste can be categorized into five basic tastes: sweet, bitter, sour, salty, and umami. “Umami” is originally the Japanese word for “meaty” or “savory”. Sweetness helps to identify energy-rich foods, while bitterness serves as a warning sign of poisons. So, you are teaching your child that bitter foods are usually not good for you and it is a warning sign. This is learned by a bitter fruit that is edible and harmless to them. It is a God given reaction to protect you. Far from child abuse you wackos.
