This was a two minute video. The video was about honoring the last wishes of a deceased family member not a witnessing primer. We don't know what was said before or after. Why must some Christians feel the importance of pointing out every sin someone makes or that the video didn't reach their "Christian" standards? Do you think the waitress will be more inclined to hear about Jesus after reading some of the comments made about her here? I wouldn't think so. Frankly, I love seeing people get together to do good as there is way too much bad news promoted. Aaron Collin's last wishes were honored in a lovely way.

A house divided against itself cannot stand. I think Jesus would be sad to see the quarreling going on with these comments. I know I am. :(

I am a childrens pastor, and this is one of the most wonderful things I have ever seen. No Christ wasnt mentioned as a couple of folks have mentioned....But I see him all in this video. I am reminded of the story of Mary and Martha, when Martha was busy with preparing the food, and Mary sat at Jesus feet and listened. Martha was upset that her sister wasnt helping her....key word here is HER. Jesus said she has chosen the better things. Sometimes the most powerful witness is what we do, not what we say. I say what this family has done is honored thier brother to help in the most simplist of ways. I would dare say that this waitress has seen more of Jesus than some of us will ever see...

I agree with Sung Kim & Vicky. It is wonderful to be generous. The Lord tells us that it is more blessed to give than to receive, however when you are given such an opportunity to sow the gospel into someones life with words, take it. You would have had her undivided attention. You could have shared gently with her that using God's name in a blasphemous way was offensive and that God's Word, The Bible, says in Exodus 20:7 that we shouldn't and why. Invitation to church or a small group or singles, etc.... could surely have been done. I know that when I reflect on my days that I've spent and that are behind me I'm not always pleased at how I served my King. First and foremost we are called to be "Ambassadors for Christ", 2 Corinthians 5:17-21. We who are believers in Jesus Christ, "who confess him before men", are Temples of God, the Holy Spirit. I am prompted by Him often to do things and sometimes I make the choice to not serve Him at every prompting. That certainly is a choice that God designed us with, in giving us a free will. I say all that, to say this. We aren't always going to get it right and we'll certainly have time to reflect on our choices for the day when we are in prayer or lying in our beds at night. One thing I do know for a certainty is that God knows "the thoughts and the intents of our heart" and only He is able to make right what I may have thoughtlessly left out. We are carriers of His presence and as such we should take every opportunity to operate in the "ministry of reconciliation". Be encouraged and blessed and "glorify God in your body". :0) Amen & amen.

It's too bad she blasphemed God's name in response, I hope they preached the gospel to her.

GOD IS LOVE! We are always to walk in understanding of one another. We are all learning about God at different stages, and walking this Journey. As long as we are here on earth we will be challenged by love, to see if we can walk in it(challenged! Yes, even through fellow believers). So even when we don't agree with someone else's opinion. We are only here to lift each other up in Humility and Understanding. Two wrongs can never make it right. This verse is a good guideline: 24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto ALL men, apt to teach, patient. 2 Timothy 2:24. King James Version (KJV).

Whether this family may have not mention the name of Jesus in this video does that really matter. The purpose was that God had chosen this young lady to receive that gift. Although she was very humble, you noticed that she wanted to give back to people in the kitchen. They work just as hard to get those food orders out to help the waiters and waitress get them to the customers. And yes...I did see Jesus and not promoting like you believe. So where is the self? Jesus does not need promoting! Vicky where is your love in this? Be joyous that this young lady was blessed that day,. How are we to know her struggle financially, do you know how ungratefull some people are to not even tip? If you don't think this should be on GodTube and why not? What are you promoting? Action speaks just as loud as using HIS NAME! We are not judging but check your heart and what you are posting. A sister in Christ that forgives you!

I think the message was simply about giving to impact someone elses life. If someone gave me $500.00 I would be thanking Jesus. The Lord isn't so insecure that we can't say thank you to someone that gives.
