Many Americans feel that it is the governments job to provide all things for all people. Scripture tells us that it is a "people" job, not a "government" job. "Then the righteous will answer him. 'LORD, when did we see hou hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing slothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and got to visit you?' "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' May we look each day for a time to pass along compassion and fill a need at every oppurtunity. May God bless the work of our hands.

Sid Jones WE are Uncle Sam. We the People....are Uncle Sam. And you're right....they don't care. Wal Mart, football and beer. Self consumed idiots who don't even know their own constitution and permit socialism to take over their republic.

WHY would anyone enlist into Owe Bomb A's military? Look how they are treated! First they have to go murder people in these senseless, needless false flag wars and then are treated like crap when they get home. SHAME...oh so much SHAME on the citizens of this country for allowing these things.

Every face you see has a heart and a soul connected to it. We all need to not judge. Sometimes a smile is the only kind gester someone receives all day. I don't have much, but give what I can - sometimes the gloves off my hands and the scarf around my neck. Living while showing unconditional love and caring for others just should be. ^j^

The veterans were very humbly saying they did what should be done. One has found a place to live but is still looking for work. The other still loooks for both. (I think you have a problem with the sound on your computer ^j^ - so sorry.

This was exactly my thoughts. There should be no such thing as a homeless veteran. Yes, there are programs out there and the VA but its so difficult to get any assistance that it almost takes an act of congress to get it. I get the post 911 GiBill and I'm always being nickled and dimed by the VA over the dumbest things. Its like they are trying to find a reason to give you less or pay the least. They don't even pay on time most of the time. Its ridiculous.

I believe that our government is so whacked out of proportion that the people of the USA our military vets need to have a place at home they also should allocate services for all of our veterans. When they do come home people at home treat them just as poor as the government lacking in care for them..

The government and especially NOBAMA does not care. he's not even american why should he care. He looks good to the Muslim Brotherhood though that is what's important.

  • 2013-01-07T14:54:52

no government does not care. they would rather send it to somewhere over seas so america looks good in the eyes of the rest of the world. When in fact the rest of the world just laughs at us.

They served our country, then are kicked to the curb upon return. What's wrong with this picture! And when will people stop treating homeless people with the ignorant stigma they do. In the right conditions, we could all be homeless. The economy downfall showed the reality there. This country owes it to our veterans to provide more than they do. And thank God He placed these 2 in the area to aid that man, whom I sure has a different outlook on homeless.
