Hey Kate, do you know what happened to Kyle (corpuschristi15)? I can't seem to access any of his vids or his profile. I know his profile was deleted once before... did it happen again?

Hey, how is it going? Hope you have a blessed day. Gotta question. Where are you in the process of becoming a nun? Just curious. I think it's an awesome thing to do.

Catholic Faith is all that which a Catholic is required to believe which can be found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Thank you for just piercing me through the heart....nuns are completely biblical. They are even seen throughout the Old Testement...but they are not called nuns, that was a term that was added later, but whenever you seen women referred to as the virgins and such, they are the ones whom have given their live to God in chosing to live modestly and not marrying...you also need to be aware that Catholics do not follow Sola Scriptura because it is not Biblical...according to History and Christ Himself, scripture was never ment to be written down, Christ never told anyone to take notes, so scripture was written later by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, then centuries later [thanks to Catholics] the Bible was compiled...in the meantime, the Word was transferred orally and thus blossed the Catholic Church...it is in this time that you see the nuns that we commonly know arise....I suggest you learn you Catholic Church history...it starts with the Book of Acts

Why be a Catholic? Child! To be Catholic is to be part of the Church which was founded by Jesus Christ, to be Catholic is to partake in the One body of Christ. You, young man, do not understand the Catholic customs and traditions, you, I am sorry to say, are not a Christian, unless you are born of both water and fire, Christ said this....I doubt that you have Baptism AND Confirmaion, which are both the rebirths of water and fire....also, this is a Catholic retreat and it is completely inappropriate for you to comment on it.

Jezuzfreak, corpuschristi has the correct answer, but I know that if you were asking that question in complete sincerity, then you would have not put in your Protestant influence into your comment. If no one has informed you, Catholics are Christian, and they have been Christian 1500+ years longer than any Protestant...also, this is a Catholic video that only Catholics would understand, so I do not expect you to understand or find this video to be funny...and yes, I am sick of the question you asked.

+JMJD [In Jesus, Mary, Joseph, and Dominic] Anti-Catholic propaganda...that is what this video is, plain and clear...thus like all Anti-Catholic propaganda, ignorance of the Catholic faith is presented at its finest. I love how anti-Catholics think that they know everything about Catholicism and feel that they posses Truth...it is very sad and very pathetic. Anti-Catholics, like yourself Sheepwomen, are ignorant of the Catholic faith, you do not know it and you do not understand it properly enough to dispute it. I would much appreciate it if you would actually take the time to research Catholicism, preferably from a Catholic Apologist and not another anti-Catholic propagandist, if you do not have access to a Catholic Apologist, then please do yourself the favor and read the first Scott Hahn book you can find [any of them will do, but since you feel the need to treat the mother of your Redeemer like a piece of garbage I recommend Hail, Holy Queen], he is a brilliant apologist and is most notable for tying every point and argument he makes [his arguments, unlike yours are valid] with Scripture [believe that, a Catholic knows Scripture…I do not know how protestants and anti-Catholics think that Catholics have never seen a Bible in their lives especially since there is more scripture in the Catholic Mass than any Protestant worship service, and the Mass, which occurs every single day, is the center of the Catholic’s lives…now, before you yell at me for not having God at the center of my life, please read what happens at the Mass…I’ll give you a hint, the Eucharist, aka the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, in other words, a person goes to Mass and is literally before God, literally before His Presence, and that person receives Christ both physically and spiritually into their body and their soul, and that person becomes a living Tabernacle, a living Monstrance, of the love of Jesus the Christ. Not one single protestant Church can lay claim to this. Not one protestant can say that when they go to church, they are before the physical presence of God. There is nothing special about a protestant church; it is just a building, but a Catholic Church posses God, posses the physical Presence of Christ in the Tabernacle. To deny this, is to deny Christ Himself] . Personally I am sick and tired of looking at your propaganda videos and reading your comments filled with invalid arguments and irrelevant points. You do not understand Catholicism, and if you feel the need to argue against it, then be my guest, but can you at least do your homework?

Sheepwoman, Mary does not have to pre-date God in order to be His Mother. You do not understand. The Trinity is basic Doctrine, three persons as One. Jesus is God the Son, and thus Jesus is both fully Divine and Fully human, not fifty-fifty. Yes, Mary was a humble servant but she was also Theotokos. Like I said you do not understand. How about you clarify this for me. Is Mary only the Mother of the human side of Jesus? And if so, when did Jesus receive His Divinity? For if Mary is solely the mother of the human Jesus then she could not have given birth to the Divine-side of Jesus. But wait, Christ was conceived in the womb of Mary via the Holy Spirit, thus the conception of Jesus was a Divine act meaning that Christ was Divine from conception and also human. Thus, Jesus’ humanity and Divinity are one and cannot be differentiated. Since Jesus is God from the moment of His conception, Mary thus gives birth to God and is His Mother. Also, saying that Mary is the Mother of God does not make her God or equalize her with Jesus, that is a rather pathetic excuse for denying the Doctrine. Also, I guess you totally missed the Wedding Feast at Cana, where Jesus performed His first miracle, which would have never happened had Mary not told Jesus to perform it, thus because of Mary Jesus began His ministry. Common sense, my 3rd and 4th graders know this. Also, out of charity I must inform you that your view of Mary essentially degrades Mary to a disposable object of God’s amusement, that she is worth nothing more than a means of Christ coming to earth and that she had no essential partaking in the life of her Son, Jesus the Christ, God the Son. At least one of us loves, respects and cares for the humble Mother of Jesus, who does not demote her to a piece of garbage. By the way, Happy Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven.

*CORRECTION* Catholics BELIEVE that neither Mary nor and Saint resides in the statue which depicts their image, that image is merely a reminder of the life of that person and how they fulfilled the will of God in their lives

sheepwoman, that is an invalid argument. Senses can be deceiving, its basic philosophy dating back to the pre-socratics and their concept of stuff [stuff is the technical term like it or not]...essentially it is the concept of reality through the senses...which by the time the socratics rolled around was proven to be inadequate and beneficial because senses are deceiving...I watched this video and what I saw was a depiction of what a person completely ignorant of the Catholic faith would present....idol worship is the oldest protestant complaint along with worshiping Mary...both of which the Catholic Church neither teaches nor practices...a kiss is an act of love and respect, so to kiss a crucifix or a statue of Mary or a saint is a sign of love and respect, NOT worship...Catholics DO NOT believe that neither Mary nor and Saint resides in the statue which depicts their image, that image is merely a reminder of the life of that person and how they fulfilled the will of God in their lives...that is all...to genuflect [go down on one knee] is also a respect and humility, and kneeling is also an act of humility...as for Mary...well, a lot of protestants like to rant about how she was a human person who simply did the will of God just like Ruth, Esther, Sarah, ect. but I do not recall any of the old testament women giving birth to Christ, I do not recall any of them being Theotokos [Greek for Mother of God..yes, Mary was the Mother of God since Jesus was both God and Man in one, not separate from each other, then not only was Mary the Mother of the human-side of Jesus but the Divine as well and since they are inseparate from each other, then God the Incarnate was formed with in her womb, thus making her the Mother of God...]...hence, Mary has an especially unique role amongst all women and since she gave birth to Christ, raised and nurtured Christ, kicked off His ministry, was with Him through His Passion, received Him from the Cross and witnessed His resurrection and acention, I think she has a special closeness to Jesus than any human could ever have with Him, and it is only logical that if we want to come as close as we humanly can to Christ, then we must know Mary and we must turn to her and allow her to lead us closer to her Son...sure we can become close to Christ by going straight to Him and we do, but there is limits with our humanity, but with Mary we can get closer, which is why the Rosary is so important....Mary wants us to love her Son and to follow Him and she will lead us nowhere else but to Him, and Jesus, who despite His Divinity, subjected Himself to the Law as a model for obedience, wants us to love His Mother as we love our own...it is only natural...

This is from a little ways down, but Emperor Diocletian wanted St. Philomena to be his wife. However, she vowed her virginity to Christ. Diocletian was not to thrilled so he had her drowned in the river but she survived, he did it again and she survived a 2nd time, he then had her shot to death via arrows and she survived that also...through her love of Christ she never relinquished her vow and by her faith converted thousands....eventually she was beheaded...wonderful saint, we are good friends. Also, there is nothing I love more than a Catholic hate video because it reminds me of how ignorant some people are of the Catholic faith and how they lack understanding...that is why I watch these videos and laugh...I will catechize later....

This was just a thought that i was pondering the other night, and this may not pertain to all protestants, but....If anyone is capable of understanding the Bible by themselves and can thus act as their own authority in Biblical interpretation, then why are there preachers and ministers? I know that we are all called to preach the gospels, but is there not still the imposition of authority of interpretation on to others? Also, if one then claims that a person need not follow the interpretation of the preacher or minister [say during a Sunday church service] then why would one even go to said church service if it were not to heed the interpretation of a "professional"?........
