the cycle of addiction is always devestating.as long as i can remember ive been addicted to something.JESUS CHRIST has given me the streangth to break those chains. the meth took everythieng ive ever known but my God is,and always will be bigger than all my pain and suffering.he has restored what i threw away and its only the begining of his mercy and love.to all who suffer he will give you rest.

I have been in and out of addiction for as long as I can remember.July4th I took a good friend home from a cookout...we found him tuesday..he had overdosed. Like you I have always been "around" God and felt compelled to turn to him this time. I am in the process of avoiding my friends and leaving a man that I love because this time I am serious..not only about getting clean, but getting to God. Please...any advise you can give. Right now I am lost and fighting not to go back

hey, thanks. I just moved up to my high school group in church, and it's hard, my friend and I are really sad leaving it. I am, cause my youth pastor brought me to Christ, and I dont know if he knows how special he is to me and how much he has changed me. I get this sad feeling about it but i know this is just the beginning of my life. Like my friend, my best friend, told me. "we are just beginning our life as Christians and we are doing it together, so dont worry." And i smile just thinking about it so thanks again. Your songs always seem to make me remember that, and how we are suppose to live. :) Thanks again. God Bless you

man, I cant thank all of you enough for pondering this topic. I LOVE discussion about topics like this because it makes us examine what we really believe. I want you all to understand that I agree that Jesus didnt stay in the temple... and that videos "of this world" might attract those that wouldnt normally watch a "Bible thumper video". BUT how much more effective would video be that showed the amazing gifts of athletes and singers that wow us with their God given gifts and THEN gave testimony? I guess I am am just saddened by the role models of youth. People that just toot their own horns and waste what God has really given them. Thank you all so much for adding to this... lets hope it continues!

nothing personal (please dont take offense) but are videos like this for YOUTUBE? I thought the reason for GODTUBE was for videos about GOD. I dont say this to be rude at all but I just think that this site shouldnt start going down this road. PLEASE PLEASE protect this site. I love the fact that this site STANDS for something. Just my two cents. I dont have ANYTHING AT ALL against this video but it has nothing to do with God. Its an advertisement for a video game.
