What an incredible performance by Celtic Woman! And this classic hymn is one that will stir your heart every time you hear it. The beautiful words praise God for the incredible and undeserved gift of grace that He freely gives.

In the video, the performance opens with Lisa Kelly of Celtic Woman singing the words of ‘Amazing Grace.’ Then she is slowly joined by Órla Fallon, Chloë Agnew, and Méav Ní Mhaolchatha. And their performance is made magical by the accompanying bagpipes, drummers, and choir. Not to mention the stunning castle that they are singing in front of and the lights that are illuminating the elaborate stage they are performing on.

The classic hymn was written in 1772 by poet and clergyman John Newton, who converted to Christianity after surviving a storm at sea. The lyrics tell of his testimony of experiencing the restoring power of God’s love. And the hymn’s meaning and theme illustrate that even when we are lost, we can be found by God’s grace.
